The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) strived hard to build the Muslim nation, SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) he (peace be upon him) has succeeded in his struggle to convey the message. 'Say: Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for God, the Cherisher of the Worlds' [Qur'an 6:162]. Don't be a Muslim that has been crippled by the gaps in your knowledge in Islam. Be a part of this beautiful Ummah. Work together and help each other so that we can truly lead a life on the Straight Path.

ALWAYS REMEMBER
'I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One, without any partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and His messenger'

Da'wah- The MESSAGE

As-Salaamu Alayikum wa Rahmatilahi wa Barakatu,

My dear brothers and sisters from Islam, this page is dedicated to DAWAH with the help and guidance of my Lord Allah azawajal. It is an important part of life for a Muslim.

I am here to answer any questions on Islam to the best of my knowledge and of other Muslims Insha'Allah.
Da’wah is relaying the message given to you and inviting others to Islam, as explained by this verse in the glorious Qur’an

"Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and Most Gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from his path, and who receive guidance ‘’ (Qur’an 16:125)

Islam has been slandered by the media and has been titled under terrorism but this is not true. Islam directly translates into peace and a Muslim is a person who submits themselves in god. Does this sound violent and dangerous? Find out the truth  and see the TRUE SPLENDOUR OF ISLAM.

Ask me for any questions that you may have and InshAllah I will answer with the best of my ability. Allow me to aid you to learn about the true religion InshAllah.
Do not make the media your only source of knowledge!

“Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful.”(Qur’an 3:104)

Insha’Allah YOU will be able to join me and help me in bringing the TRUE RELIGION to the community and those interested in Islam, let us build this Ummah for the sake of Allah (swa) and his messenger (pbuh). Our duty as a Muslim is to pass on the message of Islam; it is to warn them of the truth which Allah azawajal has enlightened our heart with.

“There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût [false deities and false leaders] and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.”(Qur’an 2:256)

The aim is not to convert by giving da’wah by informing them of the truth because only Allah (swa) has the power for placing light of truth in the heart of those who disbelieve.

“It is true thou (Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alahi wasallam) wilt not be able to guide everyone whom thou lovest: but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance.”(Qur’an 28:56)

This is the last sermon by the Prophet Muhammad (saws) which was delivered on the ninth day of Dhul Hijah, 10 A.H. (632 A.D.) in the valley of Mount Arafat. The contents of the message were collected from different narrations, and there are other parts to it that are not mentioned here:

‘’....... All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim, and that Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to your selves.......All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others, and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better that those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O Allah, that I have conveyed Your message to Your people."

To gain understanding of Islam, is by looking at the holy scriptures ‘The Qur’an was given to our Prophet (saws) and by looking at the life of Prophet (saws) and following his Sunnah. The Qur'an is the greatest bounty given to us By Allah (azawajal). This complete guidance given to us by the Qur'an is magnificent and our Lord (swa) gave us mercy in being able to read and understand His beautiful words-Allahu Akbar.

The Qur'an should be the light of our chest, the spring of your heart and the communication of Allah (azawajal). The Qur'an is the miracle given to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saws) and to his Ummah-SubhanAllah. Do not neglect the gift given to us by our Lord (swa), this can be achieved by many different ways and few outlined below:

1) Recalling the words of the Qur'an at every opportunity available
2) Memorise the beautiful words and the best time of learning is the last 2/3 of the night and during Fajr Salah
3) Understanding the meaning of the glorious Qur'an
4) When reading each verse try to find a way of implementing the verse into your life. This can be helped by reading the tafsir of the Qur'an.(A website that is currently providing the public with free tafsir of the Qur'an is http://quran-tafsir.org/).

Our full time occupation is being a Muslim and preparing for the akirah (hereafter) because we are only travellers in this Dunyaa (this world). It is all our responsibility to spread the word and convey the message of Islam. We owe it to the Ummah and we owe it to our Muslim brothers and sisters and we owe it to Allah azawajal to bring forward Islam. InshAllah the WILL stand up, mobilise, unify, make our voice heard and this is a form if Ibadaah (worship) to Allah (swa). The Ummah is going through trials and tribulation. Each and every one of us are going through times of hardship and so let us grow strong and steadfast, strengthening the Ummah.

Fi'amanillah my beloved Ummah

Bismillah

As-salaamu alaikum,

Baa means “in” or “within”, thus us saying Bismillah allows us to do every action in the name of our Lord and Master.

The benefits of saying ‘Bismillah’ before every action:

1) The remembrance of Allah (azawajal) and therefore occurs in every second of our existence.

2) Reminder of the purpose of our existence and the purpose of our creation is to worship Him (swa).

3) The action that we do turns into a way of worshipping Allah (swa) and so this means the action is a part of worship. This can only be attained by keeping the intention of the action for Allah (azawajal).

4) Saying the words before our action, so through the action, we can get help and support from Allah (swa) in that action.

Bismillah is also a form of seeking help, so we are not only looking at getting closer but also seeking help in the action.

5) By saying Bismillah before all our actions prevents us from doing forbidden actions.

Saying Bismillah before every action never mind how small and insignificant the action may be. Insha’Allah we would have remembrance of Allah (azawajal) and therefore avoid carrying out the action that would cause us sin.

Our Lord (swa) is the most Perfect and the Most Magnificent and Most Sublime. Worthy of worship and servitude.
Essential use of Bismillah is when we start the reading of the verses of the holy Qur’an:

Thus read the glorious Qur’an, follow it and then remember the Lord and the Master of the entire universe.

Fi'amanillah

Status of WOMEN in Islam

When you ask a westerner the about their thoughts of women in Islam, ideas such as represses, forced, unhappy, dominated comes to mind.

But the truth is.....Allah (swa) created both men and women.

“O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa' (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women; and fear Allah through Whom you demand (your mutual rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you.” [4:1]

There are differences within the gender e.g. men are stronger, taller and less emotional whereas women are physically weaker, more emotional which can be advantageous as they are able to bear children. The list can go on.

Allah (swa) has given men and women defined duties and so true equality can exist, examples in being able to work and develop talent within the limits of Islam along as duties of men and women are not affected.

There are numerous events of inequality of women through history and culture before the times of Islam. Islam has always regarded women justly and equal even when other religions have not.

1) Before 1850, women in the western society were not counted as citizens

2) Until 1882, women had no rights

3) During the reign of Henry VIII, women were not even allowed to read the Bible

4) France in 587CE conferences were held to determine whether women were evil

5) In India, Hindus used to consider women worse than death or the bringer of death

6) Romans gave women the status of slaves

7) Greeks considered women as slaves and so they were bought and sold

8) Christians and Jews consider women as the bringer of evil and the reason for the fall of Adam (as) from heaven.

9) Pre-Islamic Arabia, when daughters were born they were killed or buried alive.

From the beginning Islam has given women equality and have raised to high esteem and continue to do so. Furthermore, women have examples to follow from women around the prophet (saws) and even now e.g. Khadijah (ra) who was a beloved wife of the Prophet Muhammad (saws), first person to accept Islam and is a role model for the Muslim women, importantly even today.

Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: "Four greatest women of the world are: Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Mary bint Emran and Asiya bint Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh." [Sahih Bukhari]

Mary bint Emran (ra) was the mother of the Prophet Isa (as) also known as Jesus, Fatimah bint Muhammad (ra) was the youngest daughter of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saws) and Ayisya bint Muzahim was the wife of the pharaoh who took in Prophet Musa also known as Moses when he was a baby.

Not only this hadith underlining great roles of women in Islam but the glorious Qur'an mentions the importance of mothers and the love for mothers.

"We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents; in pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth" (46:15)

"We have enjoined on man and woman (to be good) to his/her parents; show gratitude to Me and to thy parents; to Me is (thy final) Goal. If they (parents) strive to make thee join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not; yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration) and follow the way of those who turn to Me (in love)" (31:14-15).

Women are our mothers, daughters, sister and wife’s. Women have a leading and great role in everyone’s lives. Islam recognises and has given women more rights than any other religion.

A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Messenger of God! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship? The Prophet (saws) said: Your mother. The man said, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man further asked, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man asked again, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your father. [Sahih Bukhari, Muslim]

The incorrect ideas held by the western people are due to ignorance. But through learning and educating one another of the true teachings of Islam via the Qur'an and the Sunnah will show the greatest beauty of Islam for women.

Finally, the largest number of conversion into Islam is by women, this is because Islam shows women are important and an integral part of Islamic society as like men, compared to many other religions.

Duties of women in Islam:

1) Practise Islam (establish five pillars of Islam)

2) Remain chastity (the total orientation of one's life towards a goal) at all times

3) Duties of bringing up her children according to the rules of Islam

4) Dress modestly and wear hijab

5) Be a wife (a source of peace, love, happiness and contentment for a husband)

6) Defy husband, son, brother and father if it goes against the commandments of Islam.
