The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) strived hard to build the Muslim nation, SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) he (peace be upon him) has succeeded in his struggle to convey the message. 'Say: Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for God, the Cherisher of the Worlds' [Qur'an 6:162]. Don't be a Muslim that has been crippled by the gaps in your knowledge in Islam. Be a part of this beautiful Ummah. Work together and help each other so that we can truly lead a life on the Straight Path.

ALWAYS REMEMBER
'I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One, without any partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and His messenger'

Don't be Sad

As-salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktuh,

This weekend has been a whirlwind. It has been the fourth hardest day of my life. I felt sad and miserable but then I knew that Allah azawajal planned this for me and my family. But my question was: WHY?

Was I not good enough Muslim? Was my effort worthless and not accepted? Was it because I don't deserve it? Was it because all the mistakes of my family accumulated, resulting in this grievous day?

NO

It is because this life is a test. This life starts and it also has an ending.
What most people do is build on the bridge rather than accumulating for the end. The end I speak of is the DAY OF JUDGEMENT where it is determined whether you will enter heaven or hell.

"To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And whether you manifest what is in your minds or hide it, Allah will call you to account according to it. So He forgives whom He pleases and chastises whom He pleases. And Allah is Possessor of power over all things." Ch. 2:284

The righteous believer does not grieve or fear in his/her fate because the believer knows that all that has been ordained for him/her is the best. Allah azawajal is the best of planners.

I highly recommend the Islamic book called 'Don't Be Sad' by Al-Qarni
This has a beautiful explanation and really motivates you in your faith and imaan.

Fi'amanillah my brothers and sisters

I am BACK!

As-Salaamu Alaikum everyone,

Long time I have not written anything on this blogspot. I think it is because I had to knuckle down do all my practical write-ups/presentations/essays and actually revise for my exams. Inshaa'Allah the results that I receive will be good which is released this week.
Regarding results, someone really close and dear to my heart taught me something very valuable. I wish that you can use this thought process and it will not only bring you success but you will also gain the pleasure of Allah azawajal.

''It is not you who gains the percentage in exams, success in you life or the wealth around you! It is the mercy of Allah azawajal. You struggle hard to attain success in every aspect of your life, you still would not be able to achieve the level of success you have gained. It is Allah azawajal who showed you mercy and sent down the goodness that you see around yourself.''
If you do not agree with this statement, it is your decision but this has got me through one whole year at university when things were really bad and when things were amazing Al'hamduillah.

Thus, every Muslim should be trying hard and carry out the deed with the intention 'for the pleasure of Allah'. Intention is directly linked to sincerity and this will inshaa'Allah definitely lead you to achieving Jannat-al-Firdous.

''He is the Living, there is no god but He, therefore call on Him, being sincere to Him in obedience; (all) praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.''  Surah Ghafir (40:65)

Just for all the youths out there like me, searching about Islam and developing yourself and becoming an active member of the Ummah, there is an amazing website you should join called http://www.productivemuslim.com/.
This website has been useful and esp. they did a web-seminar which you can listen to the recordings called 'Making your summer productive'.

Take care and inshaa'ALLAH in the mean time look out for my next post.
I will inshaa'Allah be trying to write more occasionally throughout the upcoming months and during ***Ramadan***.

Fi'amanillah

Look at this drawing that was delivered in my email today!
